Training Workshop for Engineering Design of Solar Water Heating System was held by Chinese Renewable Energy Industries Association during May 10-13, 2006 in Wuhan, Hubei Province. The four-day training workshop was financed by NDRC/UNF project “Improvement and Expansion of Solar Water Heating Technology in China”.

 

This workshop is a technical training workshop aiming to thermal engineers from solar water heating manufactures. About 50 persons participated in this workshop. The participants came from about 20 solar water heater manufactures, most of them worked on engineering department and sales department; they have some experiences on design, installation and maintenance of home system and limited experiences on the large system. According to their background, the training course was designed to give some deep lessons about large system, especially on system design and integration of solar water heating system into buildings.
