In order to promote the engineering application of the solar water heating system and its integration into buildings, Workshop on Engineering Design of Solar Water Heating System and Re-law Assist will be held in Jinlong Hotel, Kunming, Yunnan Province, from 11 to 14 December 2006, organized by Chinese Renewable Energy Industries Association, Energy Efficiency Center for Economy Commission of Yunnan and Damei International Information Co., and financially supported by NDRC/UNF project ¡°Improvement and Expansion of Solar Water Heating Technology in China¡±
The experts both national and international will be invited to deliver a speech, mainly focusing on three aspects below:
- Briefly introduce the law and incentive policy for renewable energy both in China and Australia, especially for the solar water heaters.
- How to design the solar water heating system for the engineering project, including choice and identification of the system operation mode as well as design for components
- Design for the solar water heating system integrated with buildings and demonstration project both at home and abroad as well as its lessons and experience.
In addition, participants will be arranged for the on-site visit to demonstration project with solar water heater integration in buildings.
We have also invited representatives from Australia to introduce the current development status of solar water heater industry in Australia and potential cooperation between Chinese and Australian enterprises.
Under agreement of ¡°China- Australia Climate Change Partnership Framework¡± signed by NDRC and AGO, RE Law Assist Workshop will be co-organized by Chinese Renewable Energy Industries Association (CREIA), Center for Renewable Energy Development of ERI of NDRC and Baker & McKenzie. As one of capacity building activities for RE Law implementation, this workshop is aiming to disseminate China RE Law, to promote foreign capital to invest in Chinese renewable energy industry and to strengthen international cooperation and investment in the field of renewable energy.
Workshop will last for three days. The registration fees are RMB600, including workshop material and meal but excluding accommodation fees. Please find the workshop agenda below. Participants should reply to CREIA before 1 Dec. 2006.
