In order to disseminate and promote the green and applied Solar Water Heater to be installed on buildings, as an activity of “Expansion and Improvement of Solar Water Heating Technology in China”, Dissemination Workshop on Integration of Solar Water Heaters into Buildings was held in Lijiang, Yunnan Province in September 22 to 23, 2004. This workshop was hosted by Energy Bureau, National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and Department of Standards and Norms, Ministry of Construction (MOC), was sponsored by United Nation
Foundation, and organized by PMO and Chinese Renewable Energy Industries Association (CREIA).

Representatives from relative agencies participant the dissemination workshop, including Energy Bureau of NDRC, Department of Standards and Norms of MOC, Housing Industrialization Promotion Center, MOC; China Laboratory & National Certification；CREIA, Center for Renewable Energy Development, Chinese Rural Energy Industries Association, Solar Energy and Building Division of Chinese Energy Research Society. About 80 participants from relative local government; solar water heater manufactures; research institutes; real estate developer and architects participant the workshop.

Compare to the Dissemination workshop, this Training workshop aim to the solar thermal engineers and technical topic, the dissemination workshop aim to the user and dissemination topic.
