As known, The Renewable Energy Law has been approved by China People Congress on Feb 28 2005 and will take
effect formally on January 1 2006. Under this situation, in order to carry out this new law, promote the utilization of 
Solar Water Heaters around China, guarantee safety of SWH products and boost SWH integrated into buildings, 
Ministry of Construction of People's Republic of China issued the formal document to make 'Technical Code for Solar
Water Heating System of Civil Building' become a national standard on April 8 2005.

The compile work of 'Technical Code for Solar Water Heating System of Civil Building', carried by China 
Architectural Design & Research Group, is one of the major content supported by the project.
